Today I took a hike with the 55mm f4 adapted to the GFX 100s. I continue to be pleasantly surprised by this lens. There’s a certain organic quality to the images. It resolves detail exceptionally well without feeling clinical.

One of my favorite adapted lenses for GFX used to be the Nikon 58mm f1.2 AIS, before I sold it for some new glass. That lens had such nice rendering, yet did suffer from some corner vignette. Not surprising since it was made for 35mm film. These Pentax lenses are giving me that same organic rendering without the corners darkening. They’ve been outstanding.
