In reply to Jacques Jeanjean.

Hi Jacques. Thank you for your message. My family is from La Rochelle. It's a small world. There's something to be said about Leica glass. I find myself using my M6 much more than the M11-p, which I'm contemplating selling, and just going all in on film. I have some Tri X 35mm film sitting here. I think I'll take it out today with the the M6. My other site is filmphotography.com if I end up posting the 35mm pics and you'd like to check those out, or post your own shots. It's brand new so rather thin on content. I haven't used Xtol but now I'm curious. Good luck with your Rolleiflex! Those are great cameras.

Hi Ken from France. Great post ! I used Rodinal with 135 film but prefered D76 and now Xtol. I recently bought à Rolleiflex though. The negs developped in Xtol are incredible. Should I say too beautiful ? I work in post to give my images some grit and I thought I might take out my Rodinal bottle out of the closet and give it a try on a 120 roll. Your informed account on medium format and Rodinal convinced me. For the record, I used briefly a Leica M9 Monochrom. The images are out this world. Which is precisely why I returned to film, namely Tri X. Nothing compares. Best regards and long live film.
